Recent Graduates: we have your answers to common post-graduation questions A unique benefit of attending the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health is that you are part of a great School within a great University! Our alumni are members of both the Harvard Chan School Alumni Association and the University-wide Harvard Alumni Association (HAA). There are a variety of benefits available to our members and lifetime membership in both associations is free; however, we do rely on our alumni as the bedrock of support for our student scholarship fund.
The Harvard Chan School Alumni Association's mission is "...to advance the cause of professional education in public health; to promote and enhance the values of the Harvard School of Public Health and the educational experience of its students; and to promote friendship, fellowship and professional development among the graduates and former students of the Harvard School of Public Health" ~ Harvard Chan School Alumni Association Bylaws, Revised 2009.
Everyone who attends the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health for at least a semester as a degree student, or a year as a postdoctoral fellow, automatically becomes a member of its Alumni Association, whether or not the program was completed. There are no membership dues, and membership in the Association ensures continued connection to fellow public health professionals.
