Join us! - November 1 - 4, 2013

This year's special alumni events celebrating the HSPH Centennial year are timed to coincide with the opening of the Annual Meeting of the APHA in Boston and include free and ticketed events from November 1 - 4, 2013 with the flagship events held on Saturday, November 2. Tickets and registration will be available in mid July. Early registration and recent graduate discounts will be available.

Fri, November 1 2nd Century Symposium: A Vision for the Future of Public Health Education - Free with registration
Timed to coincide with the annual meeting of the American Public Health Association in Boston, this day-long symposium at the Joseph B. Martin Center will gather hundreds of leaders from across higher education and public health to explore the future of public health education.

Flagship events: Saturday, November 2
Meta-Leadership Skill Building for Public Health Practice
We'll kick off the weekend with an intensive, day-long workshop at the School on Meta-Leadership for Public Health Practice led by the dynamic faculty members Barry Dorn, SM '04, Associate Director of the Program for Health Care Negotiation and Conflict Resolution, and Lenny Marcus, founding Co-Director of the National Preparedness Leadership Initiative. AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™ available.
9:00am - 4:00 pm — $175/pp ($140 before Sept. 15, $87.50 for Class of '12 & '13)
Celebrate at the Alumni Centennial Dinner
In the evening, a festive Centennial dinner will feature alumni award presentations and class reunion gatherings at the Institute of Contemporary Art on Boston's waterfront. Photo: Iwan Baan.

Mon, November 4 HSPH Alumni Centennial Reception at APHA - Free with registration
This free reception for the HSPH community at the annual meeting of the American Public Health Association (APHA) will be from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at the Exchange Conference Center on the Boston Fish Pier in the Seaport District, just steps from the Convention Center. Registration starts late summer.





 Other Centennial Events scheduled this fall:

Thurs - Fri, October 24 - 25, The Harvard School of Public Health Centennial Celebration and Campaign Launch Gala promises to be an exciting evening celebrating the School’s past, present, and future. Individual tickets for this event are $500. There are also a number of other ways attendees can support the School and its mission at this event. Each donor of $10,000 and above will select from one of a series of beautifully designed congratulatory ads to be included in the event commemorative program book. View complete details here.

All who purchase a ticket to the gala or a package listed below are invited to the Centennial Leadership Summit, which will be held the next day (October 25) on the School campus.
