Attend the Summer Session for Public Health Studies

Please join us for 20th annual Summer Session for Public Health Studies. Summer Session is intended for health professionals in training or those who are considering a mid-career change into public health and feel the need to strengthen their skills as well as for alumni who wish to return for additional courses. Participants include current degree students, incoming degree candidates, alumni and non-degree students. Among them are public health professionals, primary care practitioners, physicians engaged in the evaluation of health care delivery and management, physicians in training (including preventive medicine residents and medical students in an MD/MPH joint degree program), and candidates for a part-time MPH program.

The Summer Session offers courses for academic credit in: Biostatistics, Environmental Health, Epidemiology, Ethics, Global Health and Population, Health Policy and Management, Infectious Disease, Nutrition and Society, Human Development, and Health. These courses provide the framework for advanced study in every field of public health. They are essential for the practice of public health, for population-based primary care, and for the evaluation of clinical effectiveness in specialty medicine.
