Donald Hopkins, MPH '70 Awarded Honorary Doctorate by Harvard University Donald R. Hopkins, MPH '70 has been a leader in the fights to eradicate smallpox and Guinea worm disease. Harvard University awarded him an honorary Doctor of Science on May 30, 2013.
