  • Proposed Amendments to Alumni Association Bylaws

    Proposed amendments to the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health Alumni Association were unanimously approved the the Alumni Council on January 20, 2017 and will be put to a vote of the Association membership at the Annual Meeting of the Association in October 2017 during Alumni Weekend 2017.

    Dr. Anna Sinaiko and Dr. Vilsa Curto have both been appointed Assistant Professor of Health Economics and Policy in the Department of Health Policy and Management effective July 1, 2017
    Dr. Abraar Karan, MPH '17 and Dr. Hanni Stoklosa MPH '14 argue in STAT that human trafficking must be officially recognized as a medical diagnosis.
    Bernie Lee, MPH '14, will serve as newly appointed HAA Director. Bernie will join current HAA Director, Anthony Dias, MPH '04, in representing Harvard Chan School at university-wide meetings. 
    Dr. Renaisa Anthony, MPH '06, Dr. Darell Gray II, MPH '14, and Dr. Maria Portela Martinez, MPH '14 have been recognized by the National Minority Quality Forum as among the 2017 winners of the 40 Under 40 Leaders in Health Awards. Congratulations Renaisa, Darell and Maria! 
    Congratulations to Dr. Kelli O’Laughlin on winning the 2017 AWAEM Hidden Gem Award from the Academy for women in Academic Emergency Medicine!
    Prof. Hunter will retire from Harvard after 33 years. Prof. Hunter will assume professorship at Oxford University and will also help launch a joint Harvard/Oxford collaboration in Epidemiology.
